Directions to the Lansdowne Hotel

The Lansdowne Hotel is conveniently located on Pembroke Road in Dublin 4, within walking distance of the Aviva Stadium, the RDS, and excellent transport links. Below you’ll find simple directions no matter how you’re travelling.

From Dún Laoghaire Ferry Port

Follow signs for Dublin City Centre. Continue straight past the Royal Dublin Society (RDS) on your left until you reach the distinctive white circular building of the American Embassy. As you approach the next traffic lights, bear left onto the slip road before the junction. This brings you onto Pembroke Road. The Lansdowne Hotel is located halfway down on the left-hand side.

From Bray, Wicklow, Rosslare (N11)

Take the N11 towards Dublin. As you enter the city, you’ll pass through Ballsbridge and Donnybrook and continue onto Morehampton Road. You will then reach two sets of traffic lights. Turn right at the second set onto Waterloo Road. Continue straight to the end of the road until you reach a T-junction. Turn right. The Lansdowne Hotel is approximately 200 metres ahead on the right-hand side.

From Dublin Airport

On leaving Dublin Airport, follow signs for the N1/M1 motorway into the city. Continue following directions for the East Link Toll Bridge (toll approx. €2.30 for cars). After crossing the bridge, continue straight for about half a mile and take the third exit at the roundabout. At the junction with the R111, turn right at the traffic lights, then immediately take the left turn onto Bath Avenue. Continue straight onto Haddington Road until you reach a set of traffic lights. Turn left, and the Lansdowne Hotel will be approximately 500 metres down on the right-hand side.

From Naas Road

Continue along the Naas Road, passing through the M50 roundabout. Turn right at the next major junction onto Long Mile Road and continue straight along Drimnagh Road and then Crumlin Road, passing Crumlin Hospital on your left. Continue past the Sundrive Road junction. At the next major junction, opposite a Petrol Station, turn right before the traffic lights, then immediately left and right again onto Parnell Road, which runs beside the Grand Canal. Follow the canal until you reach Baggot Street Bridge. Turn right at the bridge; the Lansdowne Hotel is approximately 500 metres ahead on your right.

By Bus

From Dublin’s Central Bus Station (Busáras), follow signs to O’Connell Street and take the No. 39 or 39A bus towards Belfield/UCD. This frequent service stops at Waterloo Road. Disembark there and walk back towards Upper Baggot Street. At the junction, turn right. The Lansdowne Hotel is about 200 metres down on the right-hand side.

By Rail (DART)

The nearest DART station is Lansdowne Road. Exit the station and turn left onto Lansdowne Road. Continue straight through the next two major junctions onto Pembroke Road. The Lansdowne Hotel will be on your left-hand side.
